My little one (8 years old) just told me recently that she's fat. She's not fat. This stuff kills me.
Crazy pictures. Crazy trend. And the before and after of Kate B.. Shocking! She looked gorgeous in the first one!!
I agree 100%. I can't believe how bad Kate looks now. It's so sad.
I totally agree that these pictures are terrible. As a curvier woman, it is very aggravating when the media is constantly shoving the though that beautiful is skinny and stick thin. HOWEVER we all have to realize that most of those pictures that we see in tabloids such as the ones you have posted are most likely photo shopped so that they can write some heinous story about how these celebrities are not eating or something to that effect. We just need to keep it in perspective and teach out little girls (and boys) that 1- you are perfect no matter what 2- most of the pictures you see of "beautiful" people are fake and tampered with.
It's sad because I am sure all the mothers of those lovely ladies are trying to tell them to fatten up and their agents and whoever else are keeping them sickly looking.
agreed. remember how gorgeous kate bosworth was in blue crush?!? what happened to that kate?! i do not want my daughters comparing themselves to that one day. cryin' shame.

Sing it sister! As one of three girls raised by a "fat" mom who had all three girls grow up with body image issues, two become bulimic, one dangerously so, I say HURRAY to you today, Sunshinemeg! BTW...looking back at pics of my mom when she said she was "fat," she was a size 5 with a ROCKIN' hourglass figure. Mothers, do listen to John Mayer & be good to your daughters ... That's my rant.
